My website is growing so quickly!  A lot of the items that I ordered in January at AmericasMart Atlanta have arrived and are up for sale now.  As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I now have licensed pieces by Folk Artists Nicol Sayre, Sharon Andrews and Heather Myers. These are perfect for Spring and Easter, and are currently 15% off my already low prices by using the code  BUNNY during check out. I will soon be adding a couple of Patriotic designs and, eventually, designs for Halloween.  And don’t forget about Elaine Roesle and her Snow Children and St Nicholas. She’s a wonderful artist and person-  and only lives about 10 minutes away from me!

The jewelry section has exploded!  In addition to the new designs by Art by Amy, my collect of John Wind Maximal Art has doubled and also includes designs in silverHe has a new Country Living collection as well.  There are currently 3 designs from that line available in my store and a few more that can be pre-ordered.  I can’t wait to get the rest of the pieces in stock, they are really awesome! Also new this year is jewelry from Debbee Thibault.  She has been creating wonderful Folk Art since 1985, and I am lucky to be able to offer some of her jewelry. There will soon be some special pieces added, so keep watching for them.

Another unique line is Lola Rae by Michele Muska.  Michele uses ribbon and cloth to create pincushion jewelry.  You will find necklaces, bracelets and brooches that are sure to get you noticed.  Still on order from the show in Atlanta is a new line from K&K.  I will post a few photo to their page in the store so you can get a feel for what will be offered.  A couple of the items will be perfect for Halloween.

The Easter Feather Tree that I was sharing with you is now complete and on it’s way to Utah.  You can see a picture of it on the front page of my store.  After getting the rest of the items added, and getting some work done in the yard, I will be starting on an order for a fall-colored Feather Tree.  Also, I am planning to have a booth at the Farmers Market in Piqua starting at the end of May.   I think I’d better get working on some things for that too.   I hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring.  Thanks for stopping by!

Baby it’s cold outside…..

I know it’s winter, but does it really have to be this cold for this long?  It was even cold and icy when in was at AmericasMart Atlanta!  Looking at the forecast, it’s finally going to “warm up” for a few days.  The overnight temps are going to be above 20 degrees through Friday.  Yippee!!!!

Getting back to Atlanta, I will be gradually adding new items to my store.  In addition to the lines that I already carry, I will be adding an additional line of jewelry and introduce some Folk Art.  Some of the new items should arrive shortly, but others will not be here until spring (sigh).  One of the lines I will have the pleasure of carrying is by Folk Artists Nicol Sayre.  I have seen and admired her work at Ghoultide Gathering the last two years.

There are a lot of pieces that need get get photographed and listed, so bare with me and check in often!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Halloween.  I’m already counting the days until next year!

As we move toward Thanksgiving and the beginning of the holiday shopping season, I have decided to kick things off with a sale!  I have a great selection of small ornaments and finials from Christina’s World and I have lowered the prices for a limited time–until 11:59pm Friday, November 19th–to make them even MORE affordable!  From traditional reflectors to Santas and everything in between, these ornaments are the perfect size for your table-top feather tree and would also be beautiful on the family tree.  Ornaments make great gifts and, at these prices, are perfect to keep on hand for ”emergencies.”  Get them before they are gone!

And speaking of gifts, make sure you check out the selection of John Wind jewelry!  Items have recently been added and there are more to come soon!

This has been a long couple of weeks.  Unless things have changed, my husband will be coming home from the hospital Saturday!  It doesn’t end there, though.  He has strict orders from the doctor that he is to do NOTHING but lay on the couch for 4 weeks!  At least he will be home.  Since I won’t’ have to go in to the hospital every day, I am hoping to get caught up on everything.  I am not only trying to get my website updated and make some more trees and jewelry, but I have my husband’s business to manage.  We are blessed by having some great guys work for us and taking care of the daily operation, leaving me with the paper work.  I think I’ll have to teach Chris how to do some of it since he’ll have a little extra time on his hands.  I will also have to drive his FedEx route on days that we can’t find someone else to do it.  Everyone has been very helpful and supportive though all of this and we owe them a huge THANK YOU.  The biggest thank you goes to my sister, Connie, of Celebrate365.  She has taken on the job of taking and editing the photos of all of my new items…. and retaking the ones that I took just to get some items listed.  In addition to all of that, and that’s a lot, she is adding them to my store as she gets them done.

We are in the process of adding jewelry by Art by Amy and Christmas ornaments from Christina’s WorldArt by Amy is a combination of bold vintage/retro jewelry mixed with some modern flair.  It’s really fun and addictive once you start putting the the pieces together.  The ornaments and finials that I am focusing on from Christina’s Worldare from their line.  This way, they will fit on the feather trees that I make!  I believe that the jewelry order from John Wind is scheduled to ship on March 15.  I can’t wait!  This collection is also vintage style, but a little more “rich” looking.  The other great thing about this jewelry is that you can easily change charms because they connect with a lobster claw clasp.  So cool!

Connie and I will be at the National Halloween Convention at the end of April.  This is held at the Valley Forge Convention Center.  We will have a booth set up in the main isle, right by the stage.  We have never been there, so I am not quite sure what to expect but, it looks like it will be a blast.  I’m wondering if we will need to “dress the part”.  I think I could pull off being a witch without too much trouble….. that’s if you believe what my family says about me.

I’ll try and keep my updates coming a little more frequently, as long as my husband agrees to stay out of the hospital!
