Hello, I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It’s raining again here but, April Showers bring May Flowers!
As promised, I have more photos of the Feather Tree that I am working on. I almost have all of the upper branches done, and am ready to attach the little off-shoots to the lower branches.

It’s definitely looking “Easter-y”!

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good Spring so far. We warmed up for awhile, then it turned cold again and even snowed. We have so much work to do here, both inside and out. I am always getting antsy about this time wanting to get my gardens ready and to start planting. Even though I can’t get started on that yet, I still have plenty to keep me busy. My current project is a 36 inch Feather Tree in Easter colors. It is a special order for one of my Folk Artist buddies. Since I have been terrible lately about posting, I decided that I would share my project with you as it develops. These first pictures show the tree branches extremely bare, only the purple tip and first row of feathers.

There are a lot more branches than this, but you get the idea. Watch as I add more colors to these and they begin their transformation into a tree. How about making this in to a game and see who can guess what color will be next? Hmmmm what could it be?!
